Late posting

I don't remember if I said this, but I said I would post a thank you for the next thirty days or so to bitner@gmail.com. Well, I forgot last nite. (DOH!) I fell asleep for about 3 hours and then decided I would go hang out with some friends! I completely forgot about posting the thank you. Ok so here it is, I want to offer my extreme thanks for sending me an invitation for a GMail account to bitner@gmail.com. Sorry about posting this late! I'll try to do better next time.

I don't have much planned for today -- other than to play some racquet ball which is one of my favorite workout activities, do some laundry, figure out if I going to make it to Chicago over July 4 weekend, and maybe watch one of my 200+ dvd movies. (I am thinking one of the Police Academy movies!). Those movies just make me laugh so hard. Captain Harris is one funny man. Anyways, more latter.

Well...its the first post to my new blog.

I've always wanted to create a blog, and never really made time to do it. well, hopefully I will be able to post to this blog regularly. I am not going to try and become a grammar nazi here, but I will try to use proper punctuation, spelling, and capitalization whenever I can. Also I am going to use this page to just discuss current issues such as politics/war on terrorism/election year stuff, what's going on in my life/neck of the woods such as trying to a find a job/graduating/certain goals I have/how i am feeling on a certain day, and I am going to use this as an online journal. Hence the name The Morrison Journal. Sounds like some Sunday morning talk show.

Enough of this rambling, over the coming days/months/years, I will use this as a place to COMMUNICATE. :) ... Anyhow, right now, I am really wanting a gmail account. GMail is something that is being test run by the google. The cool thing is that you get 1GB of email space. (Who uses 1GB of email?? -- me!) Well not yet, but Google's idea is that you should never have to delete email.

Right now I am on a question to receive a Gmail Invite. Hopefully it will happen! I'll give an introduction to who I am etc in another post or two.
